Christmas Decor for a Small Apartment

Living in a small apartment doesn't offer many options for elaborate holiday decor. With a little ingenuity, however, I've created a lovely holiday-themed apartment. A miniature lighted Christmas tree carefully placed on my side table greets visitors as they enter my home. Making good use of my front room window, I have adorned it with decor, using tinsel and garland, as well as miniature stockings hung with suction cups. As a festive alternative, you might try hanging shiny ornaments on the window in much the same way. If your apartment is designed with a staircase, decorate the banister. Use garland, tinsel, holly or even holiday greeting cards. Finally, if your apartment is furnished with a fireplace, decorate the mantel. I've placed a two-foot tall animated and musical Santa on my mantel. I hope my blog gives you some fun decorating ideas for your small home.

Why You Should Visit A Kitchen Showroom

by Luke Patterson

Making decisions can be challenging if you are remodeling or renovating your home's kitchen. While there are many resources that can help you plan out the changes you want to make to your kitchen, seeing your options in person can make it easier to visualize the changes you want to make. Heading to a kitchen showroom can be a great help when remodeling your home's kitchen. Here are three reasons why a visit to a kitchen showroom is worth the effort.

You Can See Things In-Person

The internet has made it easier to check out a variety of options for your kitchen remodel. While you can get a lot of online inspiration, there's no substitute for checking things out in person. When you look at cabinetry, countertops, and other design materials in a kitchen showroom, you can see exactly what you are getting. If you are unsure about what route you want to go for your kitchen redesign, checking out a kitchen showroom will give you some of the inspiration you need.

It Can Help You Budget

Making changes to your home's kitchen isn't cheap, and you'll want to ensure you're getting the best bang for your buck. Most homeowners spend around $150 per square foot renovating their kitchens. Visiting a kitchen showroom lets you see what you like in terms of appliances, countertops, cabinets, and other kitchen features and how much these features cost. A kitchen showroom can help you make the most out of your budget and determine where you want to spend your money and where you want to save.

It Gives You Access To Professionals

Kitchen showrooms also give you access to professionals who can answer any questions you may have. Having a professional available who can answer your questions about kitchen remodeling is invaluable. If you are struggling with kitchen design or aren't sure what will work for your needs, the professionals at a kitchen showroom can point you in the right direction. Visiting a kitchen showroom will also help you determine whether your design goals are feasible or whether you need to make a few adjustments to your plans.

Visiting a kitchen showroom is an excellent option if you are planning a kitchen remodel. First, seeing products and features in person makes designing your new kitchen easier. Second, visiting a kitchen showroom can help you fine-tune your budget and determine where to spend your money. Finally, kitchens showrooms also have professionals who can answer any questions you may have.
