Christmas Decor for a Small Apartment

Living in a small apartment doesn't offer many options for elaborate holiday decor. With a little ingenuity, however, I've created a lovely holiday-themed apartment. A miniature lighted Christmas tree carefully placed on my side table greets visitors as they enter my home. Making good use of my front room window, I have adorned it with decor, using tinsel and garland, as well as miniature stockings hung with suction cups. As a festive alternative, you might try hanging shiny ornaments on the window in much the same way. If your apartment is designed with a staircase, decorate the banister. Use garland, tinsel, holly or even holiday greeting cards. Finally, if your apartment is furnished with a fireplace, decorate the mantel. I've placed a two-foot tall animated and musical Santa on my mantel. I hope my blog gives you some fun decorating ideas for your small home.

2 Reasons To Utilize A Real Estate Agency To Find Your Next Home

by Luke Patterson

Looking for a new home can be a time-consuming experience, especially when you consider just how many options are available. However, utilizing a real estate agency and online real estate website can make the house hunt a bit less difficult. Here are two reasons to utilize the real estate agency instead of a website:

Find The Most Number Of Homes

Speaking to a real estate agent in order to find your next home will ensure that you are shown the largest number of homes. The reason for this is that you can sit down with the real estate agent and provide him or her with a full list of all of your requirements. At that point, the agent will begin looking for homes that match that criteria, or at least come close.

This is the biggest advantage that a real estate agent has over a website: he or she can still show you homes that meet most of your criteria. When you use a website, you will only be shown those houses that meet your criteria exactly. This can lead to you missing out on homes that could potentially work for you.

The agent will be able to think outside of the box if he or she cannot find the exact house that you want. For example, the agent can show you a home in the neighborhood that you really want, but it may have fewer bedrooms than you want. In that situation, you will at least have the home brought to your attention so that you can decide which requirement is more important to you, the location or the number of rooms.

Financing Assistance

Now, while a real estate agent will not be able to provide you with financing assistance, he or she will have enough experience that he or she can still provide some recommendations. For example, the agent may be able to put you in touch with a financing agent or company that will has more lenient lending requirements in order to get you approved. In addition, the agent may be able to discuss your finances with you in order to help you determine what price range to look at while browsing for homes.

Speak to a local real estate agency like Felte Real Estate today in order to begin hunting for your next home. A real estate agent can help you find an appropriate financing agent or lender, while also being able to show you the largest number of homes that may work for you and your family.
